READY NWI is an acronym for Regional Education & Employer Alliance for Developing Youth in Northwest Indiana.

Our mission is to empower students with the tools, skills, and connections they need to succeed in college, careers, and beyond. Through strong partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations, we strive to foster a collaborative environment where innovative ideas and actionable strategies flourish.

We are committed to supporting educators, inspiring students, and addressing the evolving needs of our regional workforce. By cultivating meaningful relationships and promoting best practices, we aim to create lasting impacts that benefit individuals, families, and the broader community. Who we are

READY NWI connects education, industry, and community partners to prepare Northwest Indiana students for future careers.

As an initiative of the Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI), READY NWI has been building relationships between employers, schools, and community organizations since 2010. Serving 43 school districts across seven counties, we create opportunities for students to explore careers, engage in work-based learning, and connect with local industries.

Through regional partnerships and state-funded career coaching initiatives, READY NWI helps students discover pathways to high-demand careers while supporting employers in developing the skilled workforce Northwest Indiana needs to thrive. Together, we're building a stronger talent pipeline and a brighter future for our region.
